December 6, 1917 dawned clear and sunny in Halifax. Before darkness fell, more than a thousand died, with another thousand to follow, in the biggest man-made explosion the world had ever seen.
Studio 21 and its artists mark the 100th Anniversary of the Halifax Explosion with an exhibition of new work created to commemorate the event.
Participating artists include: Jane Reagh, Janice Leonard, Charley Young and Richard Mueller.
