Approvals, Rental, Lease to Purchase

Studio 21 offers on-approval loans of art works to our clients so that you can try the art for up to a week in your home or office. If the loan exceeds a week, we will charge a rental fee of 5% of the value of the art for a maximum period of one month. Studio 21 does not rent our artists’ work for long-term periods. Framing

The choice of whether to frame and how to frame an artwork often requires professional advice. Studio 21 can advise you on the options available and arrange museum standard custom framing through our longstanding  suppliers and craftsmen.

Hanging

Studio 21 offers a professional artwork installation service in private homes, businesses or public spaces. We will help you decide where a piece can best be displayed and install any kind of artwork.

Shipping

Studio 21 packs and ships art across Canada and internationally. We will provide an estimate on request.

Fine Art Consulting

Studio 21 offers professional art consulting based on our many years of experience in serving the needs of corporate, institutional and personal clients.  We can help you create a plan to add to and enhance an existing collection based on your budget, arrange for re-framing where necessary, integrating the pieces that you now own with new acquisitions. We can assemble a selection of new paintings, prints and sculpture to feature in private, public or corporate space. These will be from artists we represent and from other sources. Other opportunities may include preparation of curatorial notes to accompany the artwork and educational talks. We will look after the collection for you – if work needs to be moved or repaired we will help. We will update the artist information and advise you of increases in value.

Appraisals

We offer appraisals of contemporary art collections for insurance coverage, asset valuation, loss of asset, family settlement, estate planning and estimation of fair market value.
