Shoshannah White is an interdisciplinary artist currently dividing time between Maine and New Mexico. Her practice includes photography, painting, sculpture and public art installation and is often informed by concerns of the environment. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Maine Jewish Museum, Dickinson College, Bates Museum and the Eastman House. She’s received awards from Berkshire Taconic, Maine Arts Commission and the Warhol Foundation via Space Gallery. She’s completed artist residencies in the United States, Canada and Norway, within the Arctic Circle. Shoshannah’s been a visiting artist at institutions including Bowdoin College, Dickinson College, and at the Harvard University. Her work is represented by Corey Daniels Gallery in Maine, Richard Levy Gallery in New Mexico and has work available in Canada at Studio 21 and at the Stephen Bulger Gallery.
