Vanessa Cornell’s current body of work is the result of an on-going exploration of photography incorporating both traditional and digital painting. This series, titled Junketings is the culmination of her efforts and through her “mixed media” approach she creates honest, unapologetic and often satirical narratives of women in their domestic spaces.
Currently residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Cornell received her BFA from York University, MFA from the University of Windsor and most recently a post-baccalaureate from NSCAD University. She has participated in exhibitions throughout Canada and the United States.
